Trunk collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server belonging to us.

What is kept on your device

• Your playlists: name, server address, subscription details
• A cache of the catalogue: channels, films and series from your source
• Your favourites, channels on one side, films and series on the other
• Your history and your playback progress
• The titles you have finished
• A cache of TMDB entries and of the programme guide
• Your preferences: language, active source, playback settings

None of this is sent anywhere.

Your credentials

The username and password for your source are kept in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system. The catalogue cache is encrypted as well.

What the application contacts

• Your IPTV provider’s server, whose address you enter yourself. It receives your credentials and sees what you play. Trunk has no control over what it does with that: refer to its own terms.
• TMDB, for posters, synopses and metadata. Only a title or a film identifier is sent to it, never any information about you.
• YouTube, for thumbnails and trailer playback. A trailer plays in a YouTube web view: it sets cookies and passes your IP address to Google. This is the only place in the application where that happens.
• A Google connectivity test endpoint and a Cloudflare speed test endpoint, used only to diagnose a playback problem. They receive your IP address, nothing else.

No tracking

No tracking, no advertising, no telemetry, no analytics.

Deletion

Uninstalling the application erases the data kept on the device. Credentials placed in the iOS Keychain survive it — that is the system’s behaviour — and are erased the first time a new installation starts.
